General Maintenance:
1. Check periodically the loading table, unloading table, flat quench, curved quench, furnace main drive and the furnace roof lifting system, make necessary adjustment of belt tension and lubrication to ensure reliable operation.
2. Lubricate all the reducers with gear oil No.46.Check the oil level periodically to ensure that the oil-height is higher than the upper limit. In normal condition, change the lubrication oil every 6 months.
3. The maintenance of the air compressor is made according to its maintenance manual.
4. The draw off valves of the air tank and air filter are opened every day to drain away water. The interval should be shortened in moist areas.
5. Water is drained off periodically for the filters of 3-row chains. Check periodically the oil line for correct oil level.
6. Fog lubrication is prohibited for the executing mechanism of the fans and the air balance pipes on top of the furnace.
7. Check the air pipes, if there exists air-linking, repair it to ensure normal operation.
8. The maintenance of the fan is made according to the fan maintenance manual.
